Copyright 1947, Made in England by J Dring. Ship Ahoy board game. There are two versions, one with the Isle of Wight board lay out and the other, which this is, of Long Island. Played with six beautiful painted metal yachting playing pieces and a circular, spinning compass and cards the object is to race the yachts from the starting line anti-clockwise round the course, and into Harbour, leaving all arrows on the chart. The moves are controlled by specially designed cards, but are subject to the influence of the wind. etc. etc.
