Escalado was manufactured by Chad Valley from around 1930s - 1970s. The illustrations under this listing show four of some of the six or seven different boxes and illustrations produced. The contents remained the same, but details changed. The earlier versions (deeper boxes) had more detailed painting to the horses and jockeys, whereaes the later have horses and jockeys each in one colour only.
