|
Bird-shooting indoor target game, circa 1940s. by Glevum Games of England. Beautifully illustrated boxed game measuring 15.5 x 11 inches (40 x 17.5 cms). The contents include nicely drawn, coloured and printed cardboard cut-outs of four exotic birds which, with the aid of the attached wooden supports to the rear of each, enable the bird to swivvel back when struck by a cork when fired by the toy shot gun. The parrot's expression reminds me of Montey Python's'"fallen off the perch - deceased - no more"' parrot; beautiful plumage! In excellent condition, complete with all pieces.
