Complete, in excellent condition and in it's original box which is in very good condition for age, this is an extremely rare TABLE CRICKET GAME. Endorsed by the famous player, JACK HOBBS
Played on a table top with tapes to prevent the ball from escaping on to the floor, the wooden figures have chromo-lithographed paper applied to one side of each of the figures. Beautifully drawn cartoon expressions are a delight and probably much sought after by those simply interested in graphics.
There are Two Batsmen and Bowlers each articulated. Looks like they're bowling underarm in stationery position - more like bowls! The fieldsmen are white wooden captures, four of which have the heads of the fielders debicted. Maybe the one in the orange striped cap is silly point!
