STEEPLECHASE HORSE RACING BOARD GAME C1940s By Spears |
£35
|
Excellent example of the game of The Race from the Victorian era, which then became named variously as Steeplechase, Grand National and They're Off (but this last one is also the name of a card game from the same period).
This one is by Spears, though they called themselves 'Spear' (Marx & Spencers/Spencer - we always seem to like to adapt names). This one made at their Enfield base in England Box, Board, metal playing pieces, dice cup and dice all present and in excellent condition. Good family game
