SAFETY FIRST by John Jaques & Son Ltd. Probably 1940s. Based on the Kerb Drill as it was then, "Halt at the Kerb, yes right, eyes left, eyes right agian, If the road is clear, quick march". Pack consists of four sets of three Vehicle cards and five sets of eight Citizen cards. " Play proceeds as in Snap, and when any two 'Citizen' cards are matched the first player to shourt 'Halt!' takes the two piles on which are the two matching cards, ..........." Box Fair to good for age. Cards very good and original rules good.
